Over the past 14 years, Han-seong has been responsible for various aspects of patent application-related tasks and dispute resolution work, including litigation and trials, in rapidly evolving and complex technical fields. He has focused on building effective working relationships to ensure that clients’ goals are fully met at every stage while collaborating with clients of diverse scales and types. Han-seong brings significant experience not only in drafting applications but also in handling attacks and defenses in the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, the Patent Court, and the Supreme Court. Leveraging extensive advisory experience, including analysis and invalidity/infringement assessments, he offers comprehensive support from a multidimensional and flexible perspective.

Han-seong, who majored in Genetic Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University, obtained his patent-attorney-license in 2010 and has consistently developed his expertise in the field of intellectual property since then. In 2020, he pursued further education at Sungkyunkwan University Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, broadening his understanding in the field of regulatory science. In particular, for his graduation project, he conducted research on the patent term extension system from the perspective of pharmaceutical inventions eligible for extension, receiving an excellent project award and a commendation for outstanding academic performance, culminating in the award of his master’s degree.
